Our story began in 2012 and it started from the idea of helping to save the environment. When we built our first prototype, we started to test it out in our own vehicles and noticed there was significant results but without validation. To obtain official data and certification, we have approached SIRIM, the national testing body to lay out the vigorous test procedure on our invention. SIRIM together with Automotive Development Center of University Technology Malaysia then conducted a test and validation of our product and the results produced have indeed proven could indeed help our customers.
With the continuous effort that we have spent on research and development, Kineflux started to file the IP of the invention in Malaysia and countries in the nearby region. The patent has been granted, some as fast as within one (1) year in recognition of its novelty and inventiveness.
The company was also the grant recipient of the High Impact Program which is a National Technology Commercialisation Platform under the now defunct PlatCom Ventures (a unit under Agensi Inovasi Malaysia) in 2018. Further to the grant, we took the opportunity to enhance the research & development, productization, refinement and marketing to move towards commercialization of our products and services.
In 2019, Kineflux marked another remarkable achievement to get its product listed in the MyHijau directory as it is considered a green solution to the industry. MyHijau is a green label mark from Malaysia Green Technology and Climate Change (MGTC) which is an agency of the Ministry of Environment and Water.
Kineflux was acquired and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore based, Ryght Holdings Pte Ltd, an investment and holding company that focus in environmental, social and governance (ESG) solutions in the year 2020.
